Yup that will really work it will… it’s too late now you bastards…

…you have f****d up the education system on purpose, in order to create just this kind of people in the photo, for your purposes. Now, go and lie in the bed you have made.

David Davis

Now go and read legiron on just this matter, a few days ago.

  1. Just thought I’d post this here, it made me chuckle. The link: http://formerobamasupporters.com/

    Catching Wild Pigs

“A chemistry professor in a large college had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Professor noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back, and stretching as if his back hurt.

“The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country’s government and install a new communist government.

“In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked, ‘Do you know how to catch wild pigs?’

“The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said this was no joke. ‘You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in The last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat, you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.

“Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

“The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America . The government keeps pushing us toward socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc.. While we continually lose our freedoms — just a little at a time.

“One should always remember: There is no such thing as a free lunch! Also, a politician will never provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.

“Also, if you see that all of this wonderful government ‘help’ is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America , you might want to send this on to your friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life then you will probably delete this email, but God help you when the gate slams shut!

“Keep your eyes on the newly elected politicians who are about to slam the gate on America .”

  2. Steven:

    You’re spouting primitivist nonsense, alas.

A good remedy is to go rent the DVD of “Jeremiah Johnson, Last of the Mountain Men.”

“The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America . The government keeps pushing us toward socialism…”

The US economy is overwhelmingly Capitalist in nature. Whether it’s Crony-Capitalism or State Capitalism, creative work is hired by the controllers of Capital. That’s the essence of Capitalism. Since the people who control both the major Parties and the people who own and control the US economy are the self-same people, it’s a distinction without a difference.

“and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income…”

The primary purpose of human society is mutual support and solidarity. Groups survive better than isolated monads, who mostly don’t survive for long.

We confront a future where nearly all “work” will be done by intelligent machines for a few cents an hour, 24 hours a day. No human being can compete with that. Since robots don’t buy anything (they have no subjective preferences!), we will have to choose between Marx’s prophecy of an immiserated mass of people with a tiny capital-contolling ‘aristocracy’ lording it over them, or a society where, within reason, people can have whatever they want and do whatever they like.

    Sure as Hell beats “working.”

Pace chumps like !Empire For Sale” Mickelthwaite, the vast majority of intelligent people (and even the more intelligent libertarians) will say “F*ck that!” to Crony-Capitalism, and “Yo!” to Guaranteed Basic Incomes. It’s a no-brainer, Steven…

” tax credit for unearned income”

Since when did libertarians oppose tax credits on ‘unearned’ income?? Who gets to say what “Unearned” means??

“tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP)”…

    All Crony-Capitalist deals.

    “… welfare, medicine …”

With Guaranteed Basic Incomes (which even Milton Friedman advocated, the grossly demeaning ‘welfare’ is seen for what it really is — the Ruling Class buying off Revolutions…

    ” drugs, etc..”

Over a million people are in prison in the US for using or dealing recreational substances on the free market. If the State gave e.g. Heroin away for free, the “Drug War” would vanish. Peace is better than War, especially when State agents profitably control most of the world’s narcotics activity.

“While we continually lose our freedoms — just a little at a time.”

Thanks to regimes like Reagan’s and Thatcher’s and Bliar’s… See Sean Gabb and Stella Rimington…

“One should always remember: There is no such thing as a free lunch!”

Bullshit. Free lunches abound all over the place. Basic nutrition costs next to nothing. Starving people into submission is an old ruling Class trick….

“Also, a politician will never provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.”

Tell me that, Steven, when you can own and operate your own NIMITZ-Class Battle Groups and the vast Intelligence Agencies necessary to know what’s going on in the rest of the world, so that you can actually do something about it. Pathetic nonsense. What next? Privately-owned nuclear weapons?? You can afford your very own personal Global Missile Shield too, now?? C’mon…

“Also, if you see that all of this wonderful government ‘help’ is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America , you might want to send this on to your friends.”

    The dangers to the future of democracy in America are precisiely those existing because of the authoritarian antics of pro-Capitalists like David Rockefeller, and other Right-Wing crazies who want ever-more Social Controls. If we don’t chain them, you’re DEAD. Why would I want my friends to die?? >:-}

” If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life then you will probably delete this email…”

I will be giving a free ride to London this weekend to the nice man who brings over my new Yamaha Thundercat 600cc Four. I’ll delete the stupid email, thanks…

“Keep your eyes on the newly elected politicians who are about to slam the gate on America .”

Mere Limbaugh-speak… The Black Gate of the Morannon was shut by Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan’s crowd and the Bush regimes. Our task is to bust the Goddamn thing up, not support the Crony-Capitalist apologists who try to keep it closed, Steven…

“A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have” — Thomas Jefferson

The words of a slaveowner, I see. Very good, Steven… HHOK…

    Best Wishes,

    Tony Hollick

  3. So the government demands that you turn your kids over to the government schools and says that the government will be in charge of what goes on in those schools and then they blame the parents for how the kids act in those government schools.

Should not the parents be the ones fining the government employees for their failures?

  4. Tony:

I didn’t write it, it just amused me, that’s all. It’s Philosophy I seek, not Ideology. I agree completely with your views as I percieve them, on negative income tax and the welfare state as a whole. And I do not believe in ‘Crony Capitalism’ either, at least not if it affects innocent third parties.

    I just think that if a person is a Philosopher they must constantly question, and as a product of that, consider all points on the merits. Here’s an inspiration;

President Clinton and The Common Good

Perhaps that’s a bit off-point, but then all I can say is freedom is important, and I’d rather go back to the woods than be a slave.
