Some good news about “Ed” “Balls”

Michael Winning

Spotted this bitty bit on Guiod just now. The bastard’s likely to go down in his constituency. Time he did, such a bugger. And nasty with it.

Gordon Brown and the Lost Gold

David Davis

It may all come out sometime, but I don’t think it will be soon.

You know something? Sometimes it is quite impossible for me to decide what the individual penalties ought to be, for deliberately carrying through a known and planned Act Of Destruction such as this.

The Poles, in 1945-46, at least got to hang hundreds and hundreds of minor socialist functionaries. The trouble is that they were hung by merely another sort of socialist functionary.

I can’t imagine anything we could do to Brown, Balls and Miliband and their Treasury apparatchiks, that could possibly atone for this amount of loss.

For them to say “Sorry” somehow does not cut the mustard.

We could make their eternal descendants pay, for ever and ever and ever, but this would begin to lose its meaning after a few hundred years and would merely become some sort of annual ceremony, the purpose of which has long been lost in legend by the MSM, such as the Armistice thing is going to be.

Monday morning, same old statist crap roundup

UPDATE1:- Guido has a thing up about possible new directors of the IEA. I favour our own home-grown, hand-knitted Dr Tim. Best man for the job: libertarian: heart in right place: won’t empty the Westminster wine-cellars, not today anyway: and some more of our stuff might get published, even for no money!

EARLIER:-

It says over at Guido Fawkes that “Ed” “Balls” is still running the government, and The Devil agrees, while over at Iain Dale’s place the big news is…Mandelson’s lying…again! (Don’t you all just get tired of this stuff after a while?)

At least The Englishman managed to get out of his Castle and go punting yesterday – wonder for how long that will still be allowed?

And … I think we said something about this before, but if not, then not. But if you are a government, and you get to a situation where you’re paying out to your clientariat more money that you take in from taxation, in order for said clientariat to not work, then isn’t it time to call in the Scottish Accountants? (Oooops, aren’t some of them on the gravy train already?)

However, interesting take on the concept of “decivilisation” – a useful word which I shall proceed to use unattributed henceforth, from a proper Scottish Accountant.

Jonathan Pearce over at Samizdata is probably feeling the same emotions.

Landed Underclass has gone silent for a bit…hope he’s all right. Or perhaps everything we think about this shower of wicked GramscoFabians has been said? (He’ll post now in a few minutes’ time, you just watch…)

New inside look at OCR ICT education…….. …..First hand experience!

Peter Davis

I did this last year at my school, and you could just tell that this task was thought up by the government.  May I point out that the task was to create a video in Windows Movie Maker about recycling.

I think that, well yes, its fair enough that we have to make a video, as we would learn the skills to be able to do it…..But do we have to do it on ‘Recycling’?

Anyway, this was my submission for OCR nationals Unit 23. It got a very high mark, and it took me 20 minutes. I hope you enjoy it … or maybe not.

Yes, you saw it: this is what your children do in year-9 at secondary school it the UK (for foreign readers, this is 13/14 year-olds.)

Blogeditor says:-

Something to do with this stuff would have been more fun…

(…but most of the poor buggers don’t even know what these things are, let alone that they might have even existed.)
